This was our first year of "extravagant" creations. We opted to copy a plan from a cookbook and then substitute ingredients when we didn't like the original plan. We also adopted the rule that everything above the aluminum foil must be edible.
We slowly learned about better photography and scanning. We also decided that Triscuits are nice and light for roofing, but taste like cardboard after being left out for 3 weeks. This was probably our best year for Christmas tree decorating. After this we concentrated on making bigger and more imposing structures.
