The tile is then stacked on various parts of the roof for a while. This is called "weighting" the house. Tile is heavy and could cause the house to settle more than a house with an asphalt roof. The tile should sit like this for about 2 weeks before the doors and windows are installed. We might not have to wait that long because of the amount of shearwall that is installed. We'll see.
