What? Just a flat roof? Six years ago. Before we bought the house, the owner decided that her house would be much prettier with a pitched roof. She obtained a building permit to replace her flat roof with a pitched one. Someone decided that they really didn't have to remove the old one and just built the pitched one on top of the flat one. Now we have to remove 2 roofs to improve the roof. So this is what it sort of looked like 6 years ago. Imagine there is stucco on the walls and windows and doors where you see holes.
