| The builder expects to begin pouring concrete
for the new footings and slab sometime next week. We are in a race with
the weather. We would like to get the house framed and buttoned up before
the first rain which can come sometime between October and February. As
each day passes we can see the old reality beginning to give way to the
new dreams.
We have picked out granite (that'll be a later story on this site) and
are beginning to make "final" selections for many of the
interior items so that the project won't be delay by us. |
