Our old mail box came with the house purchase. It reminded me of mailboxes in
New England and Eastern Pennsylvania. Not very appropriate for a Mediterranean
style house in Santa Barbara. After about 9 months of inconsistent labor we
are pleased to announce the installation of our new mailbox. Yes, it is very
large. Maybe big enough for most packages. And yes again, it look like a certain
house.
The pictures start with the old mailbox in it's old location, then the new
mailbox location, the mailbox under construction, various views after it is
installed (note the energy saving clear back wall - we can see from the kitchen
if there is mail or not.
Finally you can see the launching ceremony.
