We are very happy with how the house feels and looks. Areas of the old house,
like the family room, that were very uncomfortable are heavily used now because
they feel so open and bright. There are lots of boxes, mostly in the garage
but the entire inside of the house is very usable. We've even had a few people
for entertaining already.
What's left?
- There is a punch list of things that need to be fixed but it is smaller
than I expected and items are being worked off it.
- A driveway made of tumbled pavers. The driveway extends around the side of
the garage to the back patio.
- A retaining wall to keep the "back 40" from becoming the "back 20". Made
from stackable blocks, it looks very good next to the pavers.
- A new fountain for the front (picture to follow).
- An entry sidewalk
- A new retaining wall at the street and new sidewalk.
